About me

I’m Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, adults, and families in the Central Florida area. In our busy world, it is easy to find yourself depleted at the end of the day realizing you have taken time for everything and everyone but yourself. Having spent the last seven years of my career in a pediatric hospital setting, I have experience working with children and adults with anxiety and depression, those experiencing major life changes, those with chronic medical conditions and their families, individuals adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, and those experiencing grief and loss. I want therapy to be a time you set aside for yourself in which you can feel safe processing your experiences, challenges, and emotions as we work together to harness your already existing strengths, your support systems, and coping skills while we learn and grow new skills together. In therapy, I seek to create a nonjudgmental and compassionate setting for you to feel emotionally supported and empowered to face life’s challenges. If you’re looking at this page, you have taken the first step toward carving out that time in your busy week to make yourself a priority. As your therapist, it would be my honor to walk with you through this time of change and growth in your life.
