About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York and Texas with over 8 years experience working in a variety of settings and with different populations. I have worked providing therapy to children in schools, family therapy, and adults in a crisis center. I have provided treatment to individuals with a range of diagnosis including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and Bipolar. I have a passion and commitment for working with adults and children who have a mental illness and supporting them to obtain their goals. My counseling style is from a strengths based approach and combines cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness techniques. I encourage everyone to participate in therapy at some point in their lives. Participating in therapy can feel vulnerable and takes courage, however I believe significant growth and awareness can come out of participating in therapy. I hope to empower and help you to overcome challenges in life. I look forward to working with you!
