About Sara

I'm a Minnesota Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 14 years experience in Private Practice, and I feel honored to walk alongside people during some of the most challenging and meaningful seasons of their lives. I work with individuals, couples, and families, helping them feel more connected, understood, and hopeful about the future. One of my special areas of focus is working with teenagers and their families. The teen years can be exciting and full of growth, but they can also bring anxiety, depression, stress, identity struggles, relationship challenges, and uncertainty. I strive to create a space where teens feel safe being themselves, knowing they will be listened to without judgement. I also support parents in understanding what teens may be experiencing and finding healthier ways to communicate and stay connected. I enjoy working with couples who may be feeling stuck, disconnected, or caught in patterns of conflict. Whether you are struggling with communication, trust, intimacy, parenting differences, or simply feeling distant from one another, I believe relationships can heal and grow when both people feel heard and valued. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I take the time to understand each person's unique story, strengths, and goals, and together we work toward meaningful change. Most importantly, I want my clients to know that they don't have to figure everything out alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, build new skills, and rediscover hope, Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your teenager, your family, or your relationship, I would be glad to be part of that journey.
