About Robin

I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina with over 12 years of experience working as a in the mental health field. I have worked with clients from a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, family dynamic distresses and poor communication styles, just to name a few. My general counseling approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Biblical Counseling. I tend to combine the aforementioned approaches with other theoretical approaches, thus utilizing an Eclectic approach. It is my goal to create a safe, accepting, and comfortable environment, which is conducive to allow you, the client, to experience an enhanced sense of self understanding and acceptance. Thus, creating a mutually desirable relationship focusing on goal setting and developing practical skills needed to deal with complicated feelings and situations.
