About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and am licensed in both the state of Missouri and Texas. I have been practicing counseling since 2011 starting with my internship experience in Grad school. I have experience working with people struggling with substance use disorders. I also have experience in addressing emotional disturbances such as anxiety and depression. I have also been working with couples helping with difficulties that they have in their marriages. My approach to counseling uses many techniques from cognitive behavior therapy to address the thoughts and behaviors that we have that are causing and or contributing to the problems that we face. I also as the need arises use techniques from other theoretical orientations of counseling as they are appropriate and helpful to you the client. I am here to help you meet your goals and needs. I understand at times making the needed changes in your life can be difficult; I aim to help you make those changes a little easier.
