About Rebecca

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I believe the most important piece of a successful outcome in therapy is building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about serving and empowering people to become their best selves. I have worked with people challenged by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, abuse, grief, and many other life stressors. My approach is client centered and strengths based, drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, among others. In working alongside clients, I strive to make the therapy experience genuine, positive, respectful, and safe. I believe that you are the expert of your own story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming challenges. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can be hard and scary, and it takes courage. I am proud of you for taking this step toward healing. I am excited to meet you and work together to identify your goals and make plans to achieve them! Read more Show less
