About Rachel

I’m a Houston-based therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self-without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where you feel safe enough to be honest, explore what you’re experiencing, and work toward meaningful change. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people across a wide range of clinical settings, including intensive outpatient DBT programs, a medication-assisted treatment clinic, a university counseling center, and outpatient and residential programs for adolescents. These experiences have taught me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I believe your experiences, relationships, culture, and personal history all matter in understanding what brings you to therapy and what you need from it. My clinical training includes comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with advanced training in DBT Prolonged Exposure and traumatic invalidation, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamically informed therapy, eating disorder treatment, and family therapy. I work with children, adolescents, and adults both in person and through telehealth. I have particular clinical interests in trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, family-of-origin concerns, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance use. Whether you are navigating something painful, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, struggling in your relationships, or simply wanting a better understanding of yourself, I’m here to meet you where you are. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you along the way. Read more Show less
