About Rachel

Hi there and welcome to the first step of taking charge of your mental health. Congratulations! My name is Rachel Garrett and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for the state of Alabama. I graduated with my MSW from Troy University in 2016 and have worked with many different areas including Child Abuse and Neglect with DHR, juvenile delinquents, incarcerated adults, and inpatient Geri psych. I have worked with depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and compassion fatigue. I tend to use mainly client centered therapy, CBT, and DBT and if you feel that I am the right fit for you, you and I will work together to navigate your life stressors and hopefully reach a blissful outcome. I promise to actively listen, treat you with kindness and respect, and fully empathize with you. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you! Read more Show less
