About Quanesha

Hi, I’m Nesha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, stress, and the emotional weight of simply trying to hold everything together. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale. You do not have to have the perfect words, know exactly what is wrong, or have everything figured out before you begin. We can start with where you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, honest, and practical. I want you to feel heard and supported, but I also want our work together to help you create meaningful change in your everyday life. Depending on your needs, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, narrative therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS). I tailor therapy to the person in front of me rather than expecting every client to fit into the same therapeutic approach. I especially enjoy working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, stuck in unhealthy patterns, traumatic experiences, affected by past experiences, or unsure of how to balance relationships, family, work, and their own needs. I also work with clients on boundaries, communication, self-esteem, coping skills, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, and learning how to prioritize themselves without feeling guilty about it. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, culturally responsive, nonjudgmental, and genuine. There may be moments when we unpack difficult experiences, moments when I challenge you to look at something differently, and moments when we laugh-because therapy can hold all of that. You deserve more than simply surviving your life. If you are ready to better understand yourself, develop healthier patterns, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling, I would be honored to support you along the way.
