About Polly

I have continuously been licensed in California with 100% good standing with the BBS (Board of Behavioral Sciences (https://www.bbs.ca.gov) for 14 years of professional therapeutic work experience. I help clients with depression, anxiety, stress, grief, issues that come up for LGBTQ2+ people, anger management, and other challenges. I worked with students and professionals at the Saugus High School, Santa Clarita, student shooting in 2019. I am a current member of the National Association of Social Workers (https//: www.socialworkers.org) and a current member of The World Association of Transgender Health (https://WPATH.org). I have the legally required (CA) certification in a BBS approved Telehealth Training course. I have been in recovery from alcohol since July 6, 2006. I will never lose sight that I am not guaranteed sobriety tomorrow. I know 12 step groups, (AA, NA, EA, OA, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. (I recommend SMART meetings for all addictions). I see clients in the afternoons, evenings (sessions start at 12:00,1:00,2:00,3:00, [not 4:00],5:00,6:00,7:00 and 8:00) and at the weekend on Saturdays and Sundays. My days off/ weekend is Wednesday and Thursday. I will not hold a session while the client is driving because of the possible danger and NASW ethics. My space is an open and safe environment where your thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage. Read more Show less
