About me

Hello, my name is Penney, I am a License Professional Counselor (LPC) with a lot of empathy and passion for helping people. I am licensed in the state of South Carolina. I received my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I have over three years of experience working with people from different backgrounds with different issues. While working with my clients, I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT is an effective evidence-based approach talk therapy. CBT helps you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings.. I have experience working with clients diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and Autism. I believe in providing my clients an environment to make them feel safe, secure, valued and know that I understand them. I believe all my clients story is unique. I believe we all have the strength within us to deal with overwhelming problems to live a more fulfilling purposeful life.
