About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Counselor Supervisor in the state of North Carolina with over twenty years of experience in the mental health field. I have provided individual, family and group treatment and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including life adjustment, grief, parenting, trauma and Anxiety. I have helped many individuals who struggled with childhood traumas contributing to problems in their adult life. My style is client centered and solution focused. I believe in a therapeutic foundation of respect in a judgement free zone. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, Family Systems and Existentialism. I will tailor a treatment plan specifically for you, based on your therapeutic needs. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at different points in life. While you cannot change all of the external factors around you, if you change the way you think, you really can change your life. I look forward to working with you!
