Hello! My name is Ohan Carter, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York, I also have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have worked in the field of Social Work and Psychology for over 25 years. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including child abuse, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, career counseling, vocational counseling, life coaching, and mentoring. My counseling style is Holistic, Mind-Body Integrative Psychotherapy that focuses on the whole self: Mind, Body, and Spirit. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy which focuses on identifying and re-framing beliefs and thoughts that lead to unhealthy emotions and behaviors. I will support and empower you by helping you identify your personal inner resources of strength, creativity, insight, and self-healing.
