About me

Welcome! My name is Nancy and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New Jersey. I have 17 years of experience in a variety of settings, including mental health, supervised visitation, acute hospital and home care. I am passionate about mental health and my focus has always been helping clients view mental health issues without stigma or shame and as an opportunity to work on overall good health. I understand first-hand how painful and debilitating depression and anxiety can be. Life changes are exciting and can be wonderful, sometimes they are necessary and even unpleasant; having support is essential during these times. I believe in an empathic, person-centered, holistic and integrative approach to treatment, tailored for my client. I use mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques; collaboration is key and working on goals is not a fast process. It is not easy to take that step but I would like to help you with your journey.
