Nancy Hadley

I am a therapist and social worker with over 25 years of clinical experience working with clients around the country and I look forward to every opportunity I have to offer therapy. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Central New Jersey, where I have worked since 2013 as an individual, group and couples’ therapist. My experience includes working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, couples’ issues and family dynamics. Many of the clients I have seen also struggle with a history of trauma–physical, sexual and emotional. I have also learned that clients rarely are confronting a single problem, and that the therapy may evolve to address numerous areas as the treatment progresses. I devote much attention to my clients’ description of why they are seeking therapy, so that their treatment goals can be discussed and identified. The treatment techniques I have found most useful include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness -Based Therapy and Trauma-Focused therapy. I have also found elements of Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method to be helpful techniques.
