About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a variety of life experiences. I know what it’s like to go through change and the struggles we may find there. I’m a mother and a spouse with family all over the United States. I have a military background having been active duty myself, a military spouse, and employed by military units as a civilian. I’ve been a massage therapist for over 10 years and a mental health therapist for 7. I’ve worked with soldiers with PTSD , adolescents and young adults, parents, and others with a range of concerns to include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, impulsivity, parenting problems, anger, relationship issues, and more. My counseling style is warm and interactive while keeping it real. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness. I will work with you to develop your goals in therapy to fit your particular needs. Congratulations on taking the first step toward healing and problem solving. Getting into therapy takes personal courage. I look forward to assisting you in making the change you want to see. Let’s see what we can create together.
