About me

Hello! You have taken the first step in your wellness journey. My name is Michelle Harris. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (#72695). I believe that each individual has the capacity to learn, heal, and grow when they are in a supportive environment. In my work with clients I offer person-centered, positive regard while I listen to their story. We all have a story! Sometimes we need help processing our story from a new perspective. Each person is the author and expert of their journey. I will travel with you as you walk along your experiences and gain a greater insight to your next steps! I am a professional educator and mental health provider. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in Arlington, my Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Amberton University, and my Advanced Certificate in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I have worked in social services, child protective services, public education, and community mental health. I believe that my years of experience with varied populations has increased my appreciation of the human experience. I look forward to hearing about your journey! Michelle
