I am a licensed mental health counselor with 11 years of experience in psychotherapy and crisis counseling, with additional experience in elder protective services and inpatient psychiatric work. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, intimacy related issues, & mood disorders. We all learn from experience, sometimes good lessons, sometimes more problematic ones, but my emphasis is more on taking action in valued directions than on excavating the past-finding and breaking down what gets in the way.
