About Michael
I am an experienced clinical social worker with over forty years experience in family, individual and group counseling. I have worked with adult and child clients, in home based, office and institutional settings , addressing problems that include trauma and abuse, with both victims and those who commit abusive acts. I also have experience with mood disorders. My therapeutic style is warm and supportive, and I believe the client should lead the interaction. My interventions are based on a holistic, gestalt approach and cognitive behavioral methods, including motivational interviewing.
