About Michael

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life stressors. My experience in hospital emergency psychiatry and medical social work has given me extensive experience helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, including psychiatric crises, family conflict, medical illness, and unexpected life changes. I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), strengths-based therapy, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes. Whether you’re struggling with stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, or life transitions, we’ll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and build a path toward the life you want.
