About Michael

"I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul." - William Henley. People want to feel in control. But, when people experience internal or external change, and resist such, they can feel a loss of control. By identifying values, developing insight, and encouraging self-care, I have helped countless clients regain control. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient, residential, and inpatient; and with a variety of populations, including adults, adolescents, and children experiencing depressive, anxiety, trauma/stressor, disruptive/impulse-control, substance, or personality disorders. Presently, I specialize in adolescents and adults experiencing depressive, anxiety, or personality symptoms. These symptoms can be so paralyzing and affect, not only individuals, but the people individuals relate to. For me, it is deeply satisfying to see people free themselves from these symptoms. I am credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My techniques include Cognitive-Behavior, Psychodynamic, and Existential therapies. Contact me - let's get started. Read more Show less
