About me

Hello and welcome to Better Help! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Missouri State University in 2012. I have worked in several different settings with individuals and families who have been challenged by issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, trauma/abuse, relationship issues, and more. I have worked with clients in an office setting, in their homes, and via telehealth (online). My approach is solution focused, client centered, and strengths based. We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. It’s very important to me to be open-minded and non-judgmental when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me. I really believe that therapy is a collaboration between the therapist and client and clients are the experts of their own stories. I strive to meet clients where they are and team up with them to help them achieve their goals and make positive changes. I have immense respect for those who have the courage to ask for help and I will do my best to honor your efforts, commitment, and time. It would be a privilege to be present with you and provide a safe, non-judgmental space so you are able to process and grow from the challenges life has thrown your way.
