About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Master’s in Addiction Counseling in the state of Alabama. I graduated from the Univeristy of North Alabama with a bachelors in Social Work and a Master’s in Community Counseling. I have been working in the behavioral health field since 2011 and have had extensive experience with individual, family, and group therapy. I have worked with a variety of different populations, with the majority of my experience being in addictions and trauma. I have been trained in a variety of different approaches including: Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. My approach is person-centered and non-judgemental no matter what has occured in your life. I am a firm believer not only with the clients I work with, but also in my personal life, that our mistakes do not have to define us. We have the unique opprotunity to wake up everyday and make fresh decisions that can shape our future. I can help you build a support system that will promote growth and healing no matter what battle you are facing.
