My name is Mary (Cassandra) , and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience in working with individuals and families in a myriad of circumstances including inpatient hospitalizations, and outpatient therapy, major depression, anxiety and panic disorders, sexual abuse, codependency, Loss and bereavement, domestic violence, life transition issues and just about every issue that can possibly impact an individual, in today’s world. I value the client therapist relationship as sacred and I believe in honesty and being transparent and compassionate. Each therapeutic relationship is unique and demands a tailored approach to meet the needs of those being served. My approach is a combined approach yielding from client focused therapy, solution focused approach, to motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy and utilizing the style that works best and is tailored to the specific needs of my clients. I believe in the importance of working together with you towards your goals. I am an active listener and approach the therapeutic alliance with sensitivity and kindness. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and I am a licensed Clinician. I also have a Masters Degree in Education, and I have some teaching experience as well.
