Having been educated with a Social Work background has taught me how to see every person as an individual who is influenced by family, work, sexuality, health, stage of life, finances, and social supports, to name a few. Identifying these influences helps both of us better understand the reason for your coming to therapy and possible obstacles getting in your way. In my career as a therapist, I have worked with a variety of individual, families, and groups. We have tackled numerous subjects including self-esteem, sexuality, trauma, family of origin influences, relationships, depression, anxiety, career development, goal clarification, etc. I enjoy helping clients identify their healthy coping skills and teaching them new ones.
