I’m Maggie (she/her) and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with 20 years of experience in the field, including 15 years of direct counseling experience. I have worked with a range of clients throughout my career including those that have experienced trauma and abuse, self-esteem and weight-related body image issues, depression, anxiety, dissatisfaction with their career, as well as interpersonal issues. I have also worked in multiple settings including community based care and private practice. My approach to counseling is supportive and I believe in a genuine client-therapist relationship regardless of the treatment modality. I use primarily solution-focused therapeutic techniques, however I tailor each session to the needs of my client. As such, I draw from cognitive behavior therapy, person-centered therapy, expressive therapies such as art and music therapy. I also use complementary therapies like aromatherapy and meditation in my counseling practice. My session availability is early weekday mornings Monday-Wednesday evenings.
