About me

My skills as a psychotherapist of over 25 years combines a solid history in the healing arts as well as the performing arts. My experience in both agency work and private practice includes treatment of young people, adults, couples, families and groups dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, trauma, relationship dynamics and many other concerns. I view therapy as an empowering treatment as it supports one in living a healthier, richer and more integrated life . I feel that pain and loneliness we all know as a paradoxically shared experience. I believe that we cannot go from birth to the age of accountability without experiencing wounds. We are driven by our wounds. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them navigate through life’s transitions, resolve numerous issues and achieve goals to create change. A graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute I received a background in Jungian psychology. In my years of experience working with the plethora of issues I have developed a foundation as a Client centered/Humanistic therapist. However, I tend to tailor my treatment to the needs of each individual.
