About Mardi

Hello and Welcome! My name is Mardi Mitchell, MSW, LCSW, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience counseling people from diverse backgrounds towards improved life balance and overall mental wellbeing. I've worked with clients with a wide range of issues including: stress and anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief and loss, trauma, forgiveness, caregiver issues and co-dependency. I take a client centered approach to therapy and provide a warm, safe, accepting and non-judgmental space for clients to share their feelings and desires. I develop the treatment plan together with the client based on their specific and unique needs and circumstances. Together we can identify problematic issues and then develop a plan with set goals towards improvement in those areas that are distressing for you. Various clinical approaches (see below) may be implemented based on each clients' specific situation and needs. I believe it takes great courage to reach out for support. It is the first step in improving your situation and I would be honored to support you as you take the next steps toward healing and improved wellbeing. Read more Show less
