About me

I have been a social worker for over 40 years. I picked this type of work because I learned at an early age the difference a competent, empathic and intuitive therapist can make in ones quality of life. I strive to be and do just that. I offer a treatment modality that is comprised largely of supportive and psychotheraputic intervention. I have experience with all ages and life stages as well as a great number of cultures, religions and lifestyles. My specialties are PTSD, bereavement and early childhood disruption and trauma .My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion . My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic therapy. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you
