Maisie Blaine

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker that has been working in a clinical capacity for over 15 years and in the human services profession for over 20 years. I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, parenting challenges, grief and loss, career direction and more. I have a passion for motivating and encouraging individuals to embrace their strength’s, focus on what’s important in their lives and to seek value in human relationships, careers, hobbies, interests and interactions with others. My therapy style is interactive and empathetic though direct, straightforward and transparent. I believe that different components of therapy can work for different individuals and pride myself on developing a rapport with clients and developing a treatment plan that is person centered and unique to you. I enjoy incorporating the principles of choice theory and solution focused therapy into my work with clients. I believe that increased access to media, social media, political divides and the fast paced lifestyle Americans have adopted presents new challenges that can impact our mental health in a negative way. I have a particular interest in helping people work through how to manage this increased stress as it relates to various areas of their life, identifying challenges and partnering and supporting clients to overcome these challenges.
