About me

Hi! I am glad you are here! My name is Lynne and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. My experience has included working with a vast array of people challenged by life situations and experiencing anxiety, depression, problems with substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss just to name a few. It is my belief that if suffering and uncertainty are inherent in our humanness, so too is joy, growth and the ability to heal through connectedness. People often seek therapy having exhausted their own internal resources trying to feel better. They may also believe they have exhausted their loved ones with their own self-doubt, sadness or shame. Or one may be experiencing a more vague yet persistent sense of being overwhelmed or numb and disconnected. If anxiety, sadness, irritability, anger or grief is impacting your quality of life; or, if you have been managing uncomfortable emotions with substances and questioning your relationship with alcohol or drugs, I’d like to help. I offer my clients the opportunity to explore who they are, who they want to be, and importantly, a partnership in forging the path toward healing and change.
