Greetings, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that graduated from University of South Florida in Tampa, in May of 2015. My masters program was in Rehabilitation and Mental Health counseling with certification in Marriage and Family therapy. Over the course of my clinical work history I have worked in the following facility settings: At-Home, Residential, Inpatient/Lockdown facility, Outpatient, and Community Program locations. I have also worked the following types of clients: children, adolescents, adults, elderly, people with disabilities, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ community, and people living in non-monogamous/polyamorous and BDSM or kink lifestyles. My style of therapy tends to focus on creative/narrative themes, with person-centered/solution-focused goal setting, while including or utilizing various techniques: existential, reality therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, EFT, REBT, and evidence based workbook/homework services. I am a caring, empathetic, and creative individual that believes that connection and motivating growth/personal development is the key to making progress in therapeutic services. Utilizing humor, metaphor, and talk therapy are additional methods utilized in my individual services. I look forward to getting the opportunity to help you become the person you hope to be.
