About me

I am currently licensed in Michigan with 43 years of professional work experience. I started my career in Northern CA, then furthered my work in Tucson, Arizona until arriving on the shores of Lake Superior 28 years ago. I came to this work in my early 20’s as I realized how many humans struggle to find physical, emotional and mental well-being. (I was one of those youth who faced many such struggles.) I have experience in helping clients with challenges around stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts including substance abuse, & trauma and abuse. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking steps to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am grateful you are exploring therapy as an opportunity to improve the quality of your life. “True personal growth is about transcending the part of you who is not okay and needs personal protection.” Michael A Singer
