About me

Hello- I am a licensed independent mental health practitioner and have been practicing for 8 years. I have a myriad of experience in the field including 20 years experience working in the human services, social services, schools and mental health treatment programs to include for-profit and non-for-profit companies. I am an experienced counselor that also mentors, trains and supervises other counselors in my field and has and continues to lead programs or departments in the field. I have specialized working with individuals that have included the following diagnoses or experiences: trauma, bipolar, schizophrenia, career changes, depression, relationship issues, abuse, anxiety, stress management, grief, bullying and transitional life changes along with others. I utilize a style and therapeutic approach that best suits the clients needs and adapt, which is in alignment with a person-centered approach also psychodynamic approach which explores individual needs and motivations. My training and education have consisted of two masters degrees one a Masters of Science degree in Counseling and the other a Masters of Arts degree in Sociology.
