About Lorraine

You know how to hold it together. From the outside, your life reads as capable, accomplished, maybe even enviable. On the inside, there’s an ache that doesn’t have a name yet. Emptiness on the good days. Anxiety humming under the surface. A sadness that doesn’t match the life you’ve built. You are not broken. You are carrying something that was never fully seen. A lot of what we carry started early: family patterns passed down. An attachment wound that became the blueprint for how we relate to ourselves and everyone else….long after we left the house we grew up in. I work at the root: intergenerational trauma. Harm done in the name of something sacred. And the daily weight of surviving in a world that feels like it wasn’t built for you. This includes wounds a community carries home, long after the system that caused them. I draw on attachment theory, Community and Trauma Resiliency Model skills and a decolonizing lens. We live in a world that teaches us to wear many masks. We’ve buried an ache beneath what we were required to build. We carry an emptiness that doesn’t add up. A numbness we can’t quite explain. And somewhere underneath it all is a deep desire to be seen. To be known. To return to wholeness. This is the healing conversation I hold space for. Read more Show less
