Lenna Thieman

Hi, my name is Lenna and I am a LPC-MH, which stands for Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health and I am a QMHP, which stands for Qualified Mental Health Professional. I have my Master of Arts degree in counseling with an emphasis in school and family counseling. My 15+ years of experience has included time in the school setting as well as in private practice helping people of all ages. I have counseled people suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, trauma, attention issues, anger, relationship issues, aggression, as well as various other issues. My passion is adoption and foster care along with trauma and underachievement. I am here to help you on your life journey as you make decisions, encounter trials and challenges, and experience struggles that you did not expect. Through empathy and compassion along with exploration and guidance in the counseling relationship, I believe you can heal from whatever hurts you have experienced in your life. Individual counseling provides a safe space to explore, practice, and develop skills that will make you more of who you want to be. It is an honor to walk through this part of your life with you. When I am not providing counseling services, I am a mom to 9 children of which my husband and I adopted 6 of our sons and daughters from foster care. I also help run the family business and we are very active members of our church, school, and community.
