About me

I have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2015. I strive to meet clients on equal ground and am always aiming to create a comfortable space for honesty, processing, and reflection. I believe that the client and therapist relationship is extremely valuable. My clinical approach may differ with each client but is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and third wave therapies. I have worked with a wide variety of clients but would say that I am most strong in grief/loss, aging and physically disabled, depression, anxiety, serious persistent mental illness, sexual assault/ trauma, insomnia, and people who are just feeling stuck or needing a change. Life is too short not to be enjoyed. We are all lovely creatures, gifted with so many emotions. Some are very uncomfortable and distressing. Managing emotions is certainly a skill that can be learned and refined. The first step to self-improvement is always the most difficult and takes an incredible amount of bravery. I look forward to working with you and guiding you along the way!
