About Lauren

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker from Massachusetts with over 10 years of professional experience. I enjoy working with individuals dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and sexuality issues. I have certificates in Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I'd like to believe I have been successful in this profession for so many years because not only am I compassionate and non-judgmental, I value the importance of the relationship between a counselor and a client. Trust, communication, and empathy are so important in this field and it is important that clients feel validated. I appreciate the willingness to even browse the website to look for a counselor, it shows you're contemplating the work, which is the first step. Thank you for taking the time to get this far, and I hope that in some way I can be of service to you in helping you get to wherever it is you want to go. Read more Show less
