About me

I am a licensed therapist (LPC) for the state of North Carolina, and have over five years of experience working with men, women, adolescents, and children of all ages. I counsel on variety of issues including, but not limited to, family violence, sexual assault/abuse, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, conflict resolution, multicultural issues, LGBT issues, parenting, couples counseling, and bereavement. It is my goal to provide services that will empower clients to reach their own conclusions regarding issues discussed during our counseling sessions. I like to create a very warm and inviting experience, and approach each client with compassion, respect, and sensitivity. My approach combines different theoretical orientations such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, narrative, and family systems. I will adapt my counseling approach to fit your needs within our counseling sessions. It takes a lot of strength and courage to reach out for help, and I am so glad you are here. I look forward to working with you!
