About Laura

I believe that therapy is not about being "fixed," but about having a judgement free space to gain skills and knowledge for managing conflict and intense emotions. Life can feel like there's a mountain in front of you and you don't have the energy to climb it. My goal is to help you understand your unique experience and move forward. I am also here for parents who often feel unsure how to support their child while managing their own stress. I'm passionate about creating a supportive space where you feel understood while learning practical tools for growth. Over the past few years I've helped children and families manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build your skills for managing strong emotions and responding to stress in healthier ways. You deserve a space where you feel heard and supported. I would love to mix my professional knowledge with your personal knowledge so you can become the expert of your life! Read more Show less
