About me

I received my Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, in May 2007, from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina and my BA degree in Psychology in May 2004 from Bennett College for Women. I am fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and provisionally licensed in substance abuse counseling. I have over 17 years of experience in the mental health substance use field. I provided services such as but not limited to: Intensive In-Home therapy, outpatient therapy, substance use treatment, group therapy, school-based therapy, emergency room behavioral health assessor, hospital inpatient therapy, family therapy, adult and children care manager, Autism Spectrum therapy, etc. I offer therapeutic mental health and substance use services to children, adults, elderly, and families that spread across the continuum of mental health, IDD and substance use treatment services. It is my ethical and moral duty to provide you with services that are person centered and goal oriented. We work as a team together. Therefore, fostering a positive and thriving therapeutic relationship. It is one of my goals to facilitate an environment that is conducive for you to feel welcomed and comfortable.
