"My ideal client is one who is ready and motivated for change, or is willing to take a long hard look at themselves and work to become the best person that they can be! For the past several years, I have been treating individuals with mental health disorders, including: depression, anxiety, trauma, post-partum depression, ADHD/ADD, intermittent explosive disorder, social phobia and panic disorders. I have also worked with people who struggle with alcohol or drug use issues. This is an area of specialty for me. I used motivational interviewing techniques for substance use disorders. I have helped many of my clients to develop healthy and life changing coping skills. I can provide support for people who are going through significant life changing events, such as: divorce/break up of relationship, loss of children, custody issues, grief and loss, medical diagnoses, incarceration, relocation, questioning sexual identity, problems in relationship, infidelity. I can provide individual, couples and/or families counseling. Read more Show less
