About Kristen
I am a 2010 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work. I spent the first 10 years of my career working in high needs school settings. While I loved that role, my real passion is in working with individuals and couples to develop strong therapeutic relationships. Working with couples is especially rewarding as I get to see two people who are struggling learn how to do the work to improve their communication, their intimacy and their enjoyment of the relationship with each other. I work with all ages and situations. I see each client as an individual on their own personal journey and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet my clients where they are in life and work with them to identify areas where they might need help evolving. I provide trauma focused care and I am passionate about helping clients identify traumatic psychological wounds that may be holding them back from becoming the best version of themselves. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is critical to a successful outcome. I look forward to joining you on your own journey.Read moreShow less
