About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona. I have worked in social services for 24 years in various capacities- as a direct care worker in a group home for developmentally-disabled adults, as a licensed counselor in a crisis counseling program in Phoenix, AZ. I have worked with clients on a wide variety of issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns. For the past 18 years I have worked with children in the foster care system. I use a strength-based trauma informed approach to therapy to help clients to improve their overall emotional health and well-being. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include Cognitive-Behavioral, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused, Psychoeducational, Trauma-Informed, Mindfulness, and more. I promote growth by offering a safe, accepting atmosphere so that you feel heard, validated, and empowered. I look forward to assisting you and am available for video, talk and text sessions.
