About Kimberly

I am first and foremost a Christian, with a professional background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I am licensed in the state of Michigan with over 10 years experience working as an outpatient therapist in the field of Mental Health. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, adult and childhood trauma, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse, relationship problems, parenting problems, ADHD, PTSD, and grief and loss. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I utilize a Christ-focused and client-centered approach to therapy. This approach combines my experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Trauma Focused Therapy, all guided by Biblical principles, God's love, and my desire to help people heal and move forward in a positive direction. Therefore, I would consider it a privilege to accompany you on your journey to healing. After all, you are the expert in your life. Read more Show less
