About Kimberly

I grew up in Iowa, went to college and then joined the Army. I served in Germany as well as many locations in the US. I knew there was a big world out there, and I couldn't wait to see it. I moved to Colorado after I returned from Germany. I volunteer at an equine rescue and rehab where I help care for the horses by cleaning the barns, paddocks and helping to socialize them. I have a certificate in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I am licensed in Colorado with over 15 years of professional Social Work experience in community mental health settings. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, lgbtq+ related issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! Read more Show less
