About Kenyell
I am licensed in Maryland with 19 years of professional work experience and have worked with a multitude of diverse populations. As a clinician, I have guided individual and group therapy in both private practice and agency settings. I specialize in both individual (adolescent, adult) and family therapy, with experience in anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief, and other adjustment work. My counseling is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered, EMDR, and the Family Systems model. In addition, my approach is inspired by a mind-body approach to healing. As a clinician, I am committed to upholding the highest ethical standards. I believe in a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy that places you as the leader of your treatment. I value communication & collaboration. We will communicate actively and openly throughout the treatment process. I will provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services that honor the backgrounds and experiences of you and your support system/family.
