About Kenya

Hi, I'm Kenya, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor practicing in Louisiana since 2011. I am also licensed in Georgia and Texas as an LPC. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Master's in General Counseling & Guidance. My interest in mental health began when I took a dual enrollment psychology course in high school. I later worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at a mental health agency and decided I wanted to help people who experience mental health matters. I currently work with adults on managing Anxiety, Anger Management, Family Issues, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Career, and Academic. I utilize cognitive behavioral and rational emotive therapy in a client centered manner. I am empathetic and provide a safe, welcoming environment for clients to discuss goals and concerns. I believe therapy is all about the client and I am the tool to help you get back to a comfortable level of functioning. I look forward to working with you! Read more Show less
