About Kenya

Welcome! I'm Kenya Rouska, a licensed clinical social worker in Texas with seven years of experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice setting. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, and couples facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, psychosis, relationship and intimacy issues, parenting challenges, self-esteem and body image concerns, personality and eating disorders, addiction, and the emotional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. I also have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those affiliated with the military, whether active duty, dependents, or veterans. As a former military spouse, I’ve personally experienced the complexities of military life, which informs my compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting clients from this community. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I work collaboratively with each client to identify the strategies and therapeutic approaches that best fit their unique needs and goals. Taking the step to seek support is a brave and important choice, and I’m honored to be part of your journey. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where we can work together toward meaningful growth and well-being. Read more Show less
