About Kelly

Hello! I’m Kelly, a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio with over nine years of experience in mental health therapy. I hold both a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Youngstown State University. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience across various therapeutic settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient care. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as eating disorders, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma. As a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR therapy, I adopt a client-centered approach, believing that clients are the experts in their own lives and should guide the direction of their therapy. My practice is rooted in a strengths-based and solution-focused framework, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among other modalities. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, watching true crime documentaries, cuddling with my cats, and traveling to new places. Read more Show less
